Product Overview AP1000 nuclear power plant inside-containment EPR insulated thermoset sheathed LSZH flame-retardant cable is a special nuclear-grade cable designed for the AP1000 third-generation nuclear power plant. The interior of the containment involves extremely complex environments with high-dose nuclear radiation, high temperature, high pressure, and potential LOCA (loss-of-coolant accident) conditions, requiring the highest safety grade for cable materials and structural design. The cable uses ethylene propylene rubber (EPR) as insulation material, with outstanding radiation resistance and thermal stability far exceeding ordinary materials. The sheath uses special thermoset LSZH flame-retardant polyolefin, which effectively prevents flame spread during fire or extreme accidents, produces extremely low smoke, and releases no halogen acid gases, ensuring operational safety and environmental compatibility in the nuclear plant core area.
