Product Overview AP1000 nuclear power plant outside-containment EPR insulated thermoset sheathed LSZH flame-retardant cable is an important component of the 1E-class (nuclear safety class) cable system, specifically for the auxiliary buildings and related areas outside the containment of AP1000 nuclear power units. This cable provides highly reliable connections for auxiliary pumps, ventilation systems, control room monitoring, and emergency power supply systems around the nuclear island. Although the outside-containment environment is less severe than inside, the cable must still meet the stringent 60-year design life requirement of the nuclear power plant. EPR (ethylene propylene rubber) insulation provides outstanding corona resistance, heat aging resistance, and excellent electrical insulation stability. The sheath uses thermoset LSZH flame-retardant polyolefin, ensuring high flame retardancy and extremely low smoke during fire, effectively protecting personnel evacuation visibility and precision electronic equipment safety.
