Compared with traditional PVC cables, it uses halogen-free (fluorine, chlorine, bromine-free) flame-retardant materials, significantly reducing the release of toxic fumes and corrosive gases during fires. This provides valuable time for safe personnel evacuation and firefighting, and minimizes secondary damage to precision instruments from corrosion. The product is widely used in high-safety environments such as high-rise buildings, metro systems, hospitals, large libraries, shopping malls, nuclear power plants, and museums.

Cable Structure

Typical single-core structure from inside to outside:
1. Conductor: Oxygen-free copper rod, resistivity < 0.01700 Ohm·mm²/m, large ampacity
2. Insulation: XLPE — chemically cross-linked from linear PE to 3D network structure
3. Filling and wrapping: Halogen-free flame-retardant materials; flame-retardant tape wrapping
4. Armoring (optional): Steel tape (22) or steel wire (33) for mechanical protection
5. Outer sheath: Low-smoke halogen-free flame-retardant polyolefin — key to achieving LSZH properties

For fire-resistant (N) type: Multiple layers of mica tape wrapped over conductor for circuit integrity at ~830°C flames.

Installation Notes

- Laying temperature: Normally >= 0°C; preheat if necessary
- Bending radius (D = OD): Unarmored 15D (multi-core) or 20D (single-core); armored: 10D (multi-core) or 12D (single-core)
- Cross-sections: Single-core 1.5 to 1000 mm²; 2 to 5-core 1.5 to 400 mm²
